Yesterday’s excitement of Rodarte’s OC collection almost made me forget about the new Rodarte S11 film that debuted on Nowness earlier this week. OH MY Elle Fanning! Is she not the most perfect Rodarte girl?! And the film, The Curve of Forgotten Things by Todd Cole is just kind of magical. It makes the collection, which was inspired by Northern California in the 70s, come alive with Elle roaming around in Los Angeles’ Baldwin House. I think what I like best is that there’s a sort of whimsy with the wardrobe changes in each room, and how the interior decor – from wallpaper prints to lighting – compliments the garments so well.
